I’m thinking of doing a sew a long for a summer quilt I put together the other day.

I’m calling it Parade Day.
I first pulled some more subdued civil warish and Minick and Simpson fabrics…
but somehow ended up making it with brights.
If you’re interested let me know, and if there is enough interest I will draw up the pattern and do a sew-a-long.

I just found you through pinterest (if only I had a nickel anytime someone said that lol!) and I love this quilt. I have been wanting to make a patriotic themed one for my niece whose husband is deploying again (3rd time – 1st 2 to Iraq, this one to Afghanistan). I would love the opportunity to purchase the pattern, and a sew along would give me the gentle push to get it done
