Happy Easter!

Just stopping in to wish everyone a blessed and Happy Easter!

We here are in a state of severe discombobulation!

The man came to drop off the key to our new rental home on Thursday (April 1st) so we could start moving in.  Unfortunately he said they were not quite done with the house.  My husband told him to keep the key and we would meet them at the house at 3:00pm. We had a feeling that they wouldn’t get done in time.  So we went over…man they were not even CLOSE to being done.  They downstairs bathroom was still all ripped up, the stove and fridge were still not installed, the dumpster they used to clean the house out was still in the drive, on and on and on…

Needless to say we had a discussion and decided if they couldn’t have the house prepared and the promises kept to us before we even moved in, what would it be like to have this company as our landlords for a year.  So we asked for our deposit back and canceled the lease.

Talk about disappointed!!!

I already had all of our utilities and cable  turned on there, and OFF at our townhouse.  Not to mention we are living in BOXES!!!!!!

I am so bummed.

So anyway back to the drawing board.

I hope we find a house soon or I might just go MAD CRAZY WOMAN on everyone LOL!

Later Gators!

You are wise beyond your years. Yes, that was the right thing to do and I am so glad you didn’t do what was “easy”, which in the end could have been the beginning of a year of regrets.
Keep looking, remember, when a window closes a door is sure to open. Hope you find your door soon, preferably before you kill someone. LOL! I can’t begin to imagine a family of four living out of boxes, it has GOT to be the most stressful thing ever. Hang in there buddy, hang tight! Hugs for encouragement coming your way! B=)

What a demoralizing decision that must have been . . . . but surely it was the right one. Here’s to finding your dream home in the coming days. Happy Easter!
